ACTIVE ROAD Towards sustainable local development :

Since 2014, Active Road has been an incoming agency based on sustainable tourism by employing local professionals while promoting tourist offers that respect the environment. Aware that long-lasting relationships are the foundation of For successful territorial tourism growth, Active Road works every day to set up real partnerships.

The agency is therefore committed to developing the local tourist economy through support and the structuring of a sustainable offer with its different partners: Instructors of outdoor activities (climbing, paddle, kayak, diving...) but also restaurants and accommodation in the Marseille region. Thus, it is a whole network that is working towards responsible local development.

 

   
the association ATD - Actors of Sustainable Tourism brings together the entire tourism sector and is the first national professional network aimed at moving the entire sector towards more responsible practices, by creating synergies and promoting good practices. 1% for the planet, Organization launched in the United States by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia and pioneer of sport climbing. This visionary joins the vision of our agency and its founder Sebastien Batel, who is also professional and passionate about climbing.

Companies that join this association undertake to donate 1% of their annual turnover to approved associations. This philanthropy is on the rise since more than 350 million dollars have been devoted to environmental associations.
