After more than 10 years, the Prime Minister signed a decree which gives rise to the Creeks' National Park. Discover the story of this wonderful place.
The creeks are one of the jewels of Provence. Their priceless beauty is the pride of the person from Marseille and is their to be a 4000 hectare conservation area, unique in Europe. Since 1999, the project of a National Park of the creeks had been launched. It was after many years of debate that our Prime Minister Francois Fillion, signed the decree for the Creeks' National Park, on April 18, 2012. The purpose of creation of this national park is to protect the flora and fauna of pollution, urbanization, fires . Its scope stretches from the city of Marseille to the town of Cassis and La Ciotat. |
Active Road, in many outdoor events tourism agency within the National Park, will enable users to take advantage of this space while preserving nature effectively. All actors as the Company of Provence Guides, boatmen, fishermen and other people engaged in it ! Active Road remains present and is part of the select committee of the Company of Guides in Provence.
