Hosting an international group in Provence: Local expertise makes all the difference

Organizing a trip for an international clientele isn’t just about booking activities—it’s about understanding a culture and creating a truly immersive travel experience.

That’s exactly what we did when we guided a group from Germany on a tour of Marseille, La Ciotat, Cassis, and the Calanques National Park.

Listening to the client… then revealing a different side to Provence

Our client arrived with a very clear idea of the must-see attractions. Our task was to enhance these ideas by incorporating hidden gems and encounters with local people.
A successful holiday is built on a thorough knowledge of the region, discerning partners and the ability to offer advice that goes beyond initial expectations.

This expertise sets us apart from other tour operators.

The result: a holiday that exceeded all expectations.

An organisation designed for German-speaking clients

Personalised support was key: transfers, seamless logistics, and a German-speaking guide throughout the trip. Our partner Félix, who is of German origin and passionate about the Calanques, managed to forge a genuine connection between the participants and the destination.

Marseille: experiencing the city at the pace of its residents

The group explored the narrow streets of Le Panier before taking part in a pétanque tournament. As for the food, a private lunch overlooking Notre-Dame de la Garde offered a truly authentic Provençal experience, with local produce and a warm welcome.

The sea as a unifying theme

On board a privately chartered schooner, the group sailed to the Frioul Islands, enjoying lunch on board whilst admiring the Château d’If and the Marseille coastline in an intimate setting.

The encounters that make a trip unforgettable

In La Ciotat, a stop at the Café de l'Horloge was a must: this family-run establishment, run by Camille, embodied the Provençal way of life, far from the tourist hotspots.

Spectacular panoramic views all the way to the Calanques

Head for the Route des Crêtes and the cliffs of Cap Canaille, before lunch in Cassis. In the afternoon, set off on a Zodiac tour to explore Port-Miou, Port-Pin and En-Vau, far from the tourist trails.

The greatest reward: our customers’ satisfaction

At the end of their stay, our customer left us a very warm review to thank us for our professionalism, cooperation and flexibility in dealing with the last-minute changes.

"It was a great pleasure working with you. We sincerely appreciate all your support, professionalism, and the great collaboration throughout this project. Thank you so much for your support and flexibility, especially with the last-minute changes, such as the drinks stop and the train ride. We really appreciated it!"
