Discover new sensations by climbing frozen waterfalls, a little known activity by the general public. In the Hautes-Alpes, the Fournel or Freissinière valleys are among the major sites in Europe, and we invite you to come and discover them.

You will climb using ice axes and crampons along streams frozen by the cold of winter. In a magical setting, thanks to the expertise of qualified professionals, you will be able to evolve safely on these preserved places. Whatever your level, the richness of these sites of the Hautes-Alpes and wide variety of path allows beginners as well as experts to have fun.

Program

Welcoming coffee and briefing with your guide in Argentière-la-Bessé.

After having discussed about the program, you will leave for an approach walk. At the spot, you will be sensibilized on the equipement and the state of ice. The activity can take all the day of just a half day, depending on the chosen spot.
