A half-day of kayaking in the creeks to discover by sea our fabulous coasts of Provence and to learn the joys of paddling.

In the Bay of Marseille, embark on a trip around Frioul Islands. Away from the bustle of the city and beaches, you wild need few paddle to get to see Marseille from the sea and discover its islands, its coves with clear water.

This archipelago full of history, facing the great city of Marseille, offers a beautiful panorama.

Note that the activity is not practicable from November to March

To carry

Swimsuit, cap, closed shoes, bottle of water (1,5L/pers), t-shirt, sunglasses with link, sweater or wind jacket, energy bars.

Requirements : Ability to immerse and swim 25 meters without buoyancy assistance and have no contraindications to nautical activities.

Cabanon Kayak sur l'île du Frioul

Plan to take the maritime shuttle from Marseille Vieux-Port (10,80 € / pers, go and return) at 1 quai de la fraternité - 13001 Marseille. Arriving on the island, you will have to head to the shed located pretty close on the right by taking the road "chemin de Saint Estève - Access to the creeks by metro and/or bus : http://calanques-cassis.fr/transport-access/

Meeting on the island of Frioul (shuttle to get on your own)Briefing material activity and grip equipment.

After an introduction to basic maneuvers allowing you to be familiarized with the equipment, you will put the boats in the water.

In company of your guide, you will discover a multitude of calanques, stories on the Frioul site and will be able to contemplate Marseille that you will see. A navigation from creek to creek and in these places full of history : the If Castle, hospital Carolina, Degaby island.
